Forward incoming WhatsApp messages to your own system
Turn on message forwarding and each new customer message is sent to your HTTPS endpoint, signed so you can check it came from Avox.
Message forwarding sends every new incoming customer message on a connection to an address you choose, as it arrives. Your Inbox keeps working as usual.
How it works
- Each message is sent to your HTTPS endpoint as a
message.receivedevent. - Every request is signed with a secret only you and Avox know, in the
Avox-Signatureheader, so your system can check it really came from us. - Deliveries that fail are retried for most of a day. If your endpoint keeps failing, forwarding pauses itself and your Admins get an email. Messages stay in your Inbox either way.
- A send test button sends a sample message marked as a test, and a delivery log lets you resend any delivery.
